Sonise gives a special thanks to the First Baptist Church of Englewood and the Honorees of the SonRise Commuity Sevice Awards Luncheon for raising the awareness of how community service effects peoples lives.  Often individual contributions are felt for years to come.  Educators equip us with knowledge and tools we need to mature to become responsible men and women' mentors are role models that help a person to achieve greatness that benefit others; law inforcement officers and and firefighters keep community safe and orderly; public officials work to continue to provide services that benefit our families; religious leaders care for our spiritual need and offer guidance and a helping hand; and many others make contributions that go unnoticed, yet these contributions have profound affects.
